During my 6 years’ foreign trading experience, there is one sentence repeated all the time. Have a guess? I believe most of you can get it. That is ‘Your price is too high’. China is a very huge market for bearing manufacturing. It is no exaggeration to say there are more than 10 qualities for one size in the market. But, what are the differences between those qualities?
Firstly, it depends on the manufacturing cost. In XEZ, each bearing will go through almost 60 manufacturing procedures, rough grinding, precise grinding, polishing, quench, cryogenic treatment, tempering, assembly, testing, etc… Many small and middle sizes factories will reduce part of these to save manufacturing costs. From the outer dimension, they are the same. But in customers’ feedback, they have great performance differences.
Secondly, raw material is also a key factor. For the rings, XEZ is using forging material, some others are using steel tubes. Of course, forging material has better intensity and strength. For balls, XEZ adopts HIP ceramic balls, which are imported from leading ball manufactures in the world, such as Saint Goban, AKS, etc… Actually, most of the factories are using Chinese brand balls. But due to the technology gap, the Chinese ball’s quality is not that stable, which will affect the smooth running of the bearing, even worse, affect the running of the spindle and machines.
Most of the people are fond of FAG or NSK, why? Because their quality is good and stable enough. Compared with them, Chinese bearings have great advantages on price. Choosing a supplier with stable quality will definitely help you a lot.
